just to wrap up this post... Thanks alot to all who helped... I really appreciate it!!
Anyway, I got to the bottom of it. To make a long story short...the seller of the long block did confirm that this is an O.E./never opened enging w/ 160k miles. HE put the discs on it as he felt that with the leak downs ranging from 4-9% and the cyl compression 150-170, that the engine is getting tired, but it was a running engine in the wreck it came out of.
So, I will post another thread to show the future of this LB... I think a friend of mine may be willing to help me turn it into a RSR 3.0, carbs, twin plug,... as he is quite knowledgable and familar with that type of engine.
