My 78 is 2680, full gas, sunroof, Optima battery, roll bar, spare tire, A/C (w/o compressor), factory bumpers, Recaro SE seats.
Mods not accounted for are turbo, 18 lb Flowmaster muffler (soon to change to 6 lb M&K), delete cat, delete A/C (about 50 lb total of A/C stuff), two gallons of water in the washer reservoir. I'll post the new weights in a few weeks.
I could maybe trim 100 lb of bumpers going to fiberglass, 28 lb with an Odyssey instead of an Optima, 30 lb removing the spare tire. So, 2400 lb is a reasonable lightweight expectation for a street/track car.
I'm surprised with all the fiberglass you can't get under 2300 LB.
