Another way to state this is that either:
1) This car has been deliberately lightened or
2) The scales you used are way off.
If your car does not have these improvements, then I am quite suspicious of the scale you used.

Wow, you really read between the lines.
you must have missed my post earlier in this thread..that was the
plan to lighten the car as much as possible..we
did switch out to a ton of fiberglass and stripped as much as possible..I was curious of the stock weight to find out my weight savings...
2300# seemed like a rational weight given what was gotten rid of
Getting back to what I said, this is what we did to "deliberately lighten" the car
AC delete
sunroof and all associated tracks delete
Fiberglass front fenders
Fiberlgass hood
Fiberglass front and rear valences
Fiberglass doors
Fiberglass dash
Carpet delete
Back seat delete
Sound deadener delete
Stock seat delete in favor or Corbeau buckets
Rocker trim delete
Drip rail delete (not that this saves much weight)
Lexan windows
M&K muffler
Odyssey battery
935 Fiberglass mirror
SSI exchangers
Radio/speaker delete
Cold-filtered Helium in tires
Heres what was added:
Full roll cage made of PVC pipe painted black
(just kidding, its 1.5" DOM tubing
So, basically, if you read
this post
carefully, you
may note that we did
some little things to lighten the car.
HA HA Have a great weekend

Car will be on the road soon
