My understanding is the bigger Porsches will be hybridized soon, to lower carbon emissions. The 911 and Boxster cars will be untouched, though it's possible they'll go back to slightly smaller engines. The $35K profit per car? must be due to the 911, where they surely have their biggest margin. The Boxster remains their best value--and some prefer the mid-engine.
