Al. posts would be good. However, I suspect aluminum extrusions would be pretty expensive compared to wood. There are budget considerations. The church hasn't yet made any overtures to offset the material cost. My son will organize some fund-raising activities and try to get some materials donated or at a discount, but we may have to bear the balance. We'll see.
