1971 911S w/AC: which dipstick to use?
I went to my local Porsche dealer, described my car as a 911S Targa with A/C and asked to order the appropriate dipstick for it. It needed to be special ordered so almost 2 weeks later I tried inserting it into the oil filler tune... no way it would go in. The filler neck has 2 - 90 degree bends in it and the dealer supplied stick won't get past the 1st 90. The dealer gave me a 901 107 770 00 part.
Can someone help me determine what the correct part number should be and perhaps post a picture of one for my car? Many thanks!
