As of Saturday, September 1, question "f" of the Firearms Transaction Record Over the Counter (form 4473) is changed to read:

Have you ever been adjucated mentally defective (which includes a determination by a court, board, commission, or other lawful authority that you are a danger to yourself or to others or are incompetent to manage your own affairs) OR have you ever been committed to a mental institution?

I assume this provision will have limitted affect on the members of this forum.
The answer format remains the same, first question "yes", "no" to the rest.
