I've put a lot of thought into this and I normally stick to the car's given name, as I have only one I refer to it as "The Porsche" if I ever get another one I will refer to this one as "Porsche Number One" unless its a different model then I will refer to this one as "The SC" if further names are needed to differentiate I will add IE "The SC Targa". 
Just in case anyone was wondering, I gave my two sons each human names, and my dog has an appropriate pet name.
