In Idaho, we call 'em "Fallers." If you arm wrestle with these guys for beers, make them use their right arms. Their left arms hold the saws. They generally start the day with at least three saws that have sharp chains. The day ends with dull chains. A few Husqvarnas, but the vast majority are Stihls.
Imagine......working hard for eighteen hours in the heat of the day.....and then go home smelling like the worlds best car freshener.
A bit of related trivia: Another closely related occupation are the "Hookers." Anybody think they know what task Hookers perform?
Oh, an yeah. An experienced Faller can point the tip of the tree in any direction you like. Certainly within a foot.
