We have all Dodges with the Cummins in our litlte fleet at work (2 trucks). We haul up to 10,000 lbs in the bed, and have had zero problems with them.
We used to run the Fords with the Power Strokes, untill they came out with the 6.no engine. Transmissions were a problem too.
We looked at the Chevies with the Duramax, but at the time, they had problems with them dropping exhaust valves. A Friend at a Chevey dealer told us about this. They would eat the head, piston, and turbo. Gets Expensive real quick.
We run our trucks untill at least 300,000 miles before they get replaced, so we have to look for long term reliability. Diesels can get expensive quickly, when the warranty runs out.
