But it sounds like you already pretty much lean toward taking the Porsche. Potentially a wonderful experience. Sure things can go wrong, they always can - no matter how well prepared and in any car.

With children I would avoid it, but two grown people can always cope. I would definitely go with the Porsche (thoroughly checked out and serviced).
