An 82SC doesn't need a DME relay.
My 82SC just turned over 201,000 miles and still runs like a top.
Over the last 5 years I've put over 80,000 miles on the car and it has never left me on the side of the road.
Take the car on the trip. It will be even more memorable in a Porsche!
