LOTS OF FEAR AND LOATHING in las vegas for this one.
heres the deal............to pre run baja its expensive.
to pre run and RACE baja is very very very expensive.
to finish baja.............well you gotta be damn good and have some luck riding with you.
and if its a point to point year(ensenada to cabo) you have a hell of a LONG DRIVE back to states if you win. and an even LONGER ride back to states if you DNF'D!
sooooooooo...........las vegas being where its at.................EVERYONE and his brother builds something goofy praying on the win to make them rich.
kinda like the general feeling of most who live great distances from gambling. here in arizona with all the indian casinos and laughlin and vegas so close you cant swing a dead cat w/out hitting a crap table.
soooooooooooo. this breeds lots of one off ideas that shouldnt work and do. and those brilliant engineering designs that never even make it past the APEX RR crossing! this is were the V-12 ferrari buggy met its ultimate demise and has NEVER BEEN SEEN SINCE ANYWHERE or BY ANYONE!
plus you get movie-stars, wanna-be off road racers from other racing venues, and an incredible amount of never rans who think there damn good!
with that cast of characters and BIG BUCKS BET on the boards on every entry in every casino, YOU GET MASS MAYHEM!
and then add to that mass quanities of BEER.................you get added MORE MAYHEM!
