Thanks for the tip: I tried it and they came off fine. The "O" ring on the engine case side of that short metal pipe stayed "put" and so I just renew the larger and smaller "O" rings on that oil bridge part. I installed a new "bridge" but to no avail as the oil leaks persist and it looks like the oil leak on the left side is from the left chain gear "O" ring and the right side looks like a head/cylinder leak and I have a 1990. I'm not up for a top end rebuild at this time so I'll have a Porsche specialist renew the chain gear "O" ring, ck timing and I'll leave the head/cylinder oil leak for when the clutch goes up.
