Sup, Thanks, the battle is over, and I have since remarried.
We knew the marriage was over, she filed, then did everything she could to take as long as she could. Canceling mediation at the last minute and taking forever to reschedule, requesting a new judge, agreeing to things and then backing out so we'd have to start over. After 18 months of this I decided she wasn't going to have that much control over me and I didn't care how long it took I was going to start living my life as if we were no longer married. All in all it took 2.5 years...
The biggest heartache for me is the kids. I have three, and the older two (now 14-15) will hardly say two words to me. I see my youngest (9) every couple of days though.
