How lame. I see no use for it either. Carry a towel to the green. The chances are if the dew is going to get your grips wet, there's going to be crap sticking on your ball too. If it was designed to keep you from having to bend over to grab your club, try being a little more resourceful. I'd buy the bag first, even if the clothes pin cost $.25.
