Also check for rust under the windshield, in the rear seats and package shelf, along the seams in the engine compartment, the front suspension pan, and the torsion bar area. Expect the heater boxes to be junk. I would try to take the car on an extended drive - it'll point you to any deficiencies in the car's performance. Try to do a compression check of the engine yourself - these engines are pretty pricey to repair/rebuild.
