Hmm, lets do the math.
2008 Cayenne S has a curb weight of 4950* pounds, and it makes 385 HP = 12.86 pounds/HP
Base model 2008 Carerra has a curb weight of 3075 pounds and makes 325 HP = 9.46 pounds/HP.
Looks like "Nope, I really don't think so" is your answer.
3 pounds/HP is a significant difference - in fact, the current 911 turbo and GT3 RS come out at 7.27 and 7.30 pounds/HP respectively, compared to the base Carerra @ 9.46. Based on those figures, the Cayenne S would be comparable with an early 80's SC making ~210 HP and weighing 2700 pounds.
* According to a Yahoo! spec for the 2008 model - Porsche don't quote the curb weight for it.
