It was not 1 phone it was at least 3. His, the wifes and the kids. It was ~$1800 per phone.

They were using roaming data minutes.

By default email checking is manual, not automatic.

They changed the default.

Can't fault the carriers and manufacturers if the consumer does not know how to use their hardware.
