It's totally unofficial and dependant on what the individual inspector's like, but apparently most of them don't really care about the airbag sticker. It's kind of a dumb rule anyway. I didn't have one (completely forgot about it, actually) when I had the boxster inspected. He didn't care. I don't think he even noticed, though he did check it off on the form.
