Maybe a little too over-the-top for me, but that's what a Lambo is all about, isn't it? I have to admit I had never given a Murc a second thought, until I spent the summer in Bangkok. Right around the corner from me was a bright yellow one that got me looking at the details with great interest (it was parked next to the owners Carrera GT which to me, even as a Porsche guy, looked bland in comparison), and then Siam Paragon had a Black one with red interior that really did it for me. Gorgeous car with great proportions and a real sense of...hmmm, something sinister and very extroverted, I guess. I liked it.
I hope that if I see one of these Reventon's in the metal (errr, carbon fibre) it will have the same impact. I sure won't be ponying up the US $1.4M though.
I remember reading about a classic and sportscar "club" in Britain that maintained a fleet of approximately 50 supercars, Ferrari's, Porsche's, 50's 300SL's, that sort of thing, and they claimed that 50% of their maintenance expenses were eaten up by just two Lamborghini's. VW sure knows how to make big $$$ from their premium brands (Bugatti, Bentley, Lamborghini, Audi)
