I'm not familar with the 951 wiring...it may not differ that much from an N/A 944. I'd have to say the best solution is to trade me cars as mine doesn't have that problem. Then, and only then, would you be perfectly satisfied with your car. If perfect satisfaction is not your game I'd check out a schematic on that circuit and figure which wire to snip to permanately disable it. Sorry if this is rather vauge, I'm just not familar with the 951. That's just my $0.02. A little cobbled? Yes, but I have no care or use for any idiot lights.
