I was actually using an Audi sensor

I havn't gotten back around to testing MAF sensors lately,but what I have learned since starting to toy with the 951 is that even if you get the chip close to perfect having a small piggy back with any MAF is really necessary. The temp changes can effect a turbo setup greatly and having the PB can help keep it tuned perfect.

The next MAF I am going to try to use is one off of a mid 90's ford taurus 3.0l. I tried one off of my daughters car when she had it and it matched my AFM better than the Audi unit.

As far as the max chips after talking with Russell I imagine that if you have a certain power level in mind that a chip can be burned and then you would data log using wideband and then he could get you very close and it wasn't going to be too pricey.

I personally would most likely need the maxtune setup,MS, or some variant of EM.

I will be speaking with him soon again to try to get something together for some safety for the other folks who are supercharging. After learning a bit more about the DME it shouldn't be too hard to get a pretty good baseline tune so anyone who decides to do what I have done could do it w/o having to purchase the RRFPR, and any timing control, or use methanol as much.

If this can come to fruition is would really simplify installing a supercharger and running about 10-12 psi.
