Nick,
The engine number is wrong, he has stated that it's not the engine that come with the car.
The first 2 digits indicate 3 ltr Carrera, the 3rd digit indicate 1974 but it's supposed to be 2.7.
I have a feeling when they changed the case in japan they must have randomly punched in the engine number.
