I told this story once before.

A employee (Dave) of mine was in a adult night club with a bunch of friends and a couple of co workers. Some guy there (a stranger to all of them) sitting at the next table decided Daves girlfriend must be a whore for being in a strip club and kept talking trash to her.

Dave never heard him but some of the other guys did and decided it was time to leave never letting Dave know. The clowns followed them out. Got in their pickup and drove across the parking lot to say some more rude things to the girlfriend again.

Now, Dave trains 5 days a week and is trying to break into the UFC, he has not lost a bout yet and is pretty scrappy. He hears what this clown says and approaches the pickup and tells him to drive off before he makes a big mistake. Of course he tries to get out of his pickup and Dave punches him so hard in the side of the face he shatters his cheekbone and knocks him out.

Dave was arrested 1 mile from the club. Charged with assault and trespassing for reaching into the guys pickup to hit him. Ends up with over 5K in court costs, and has to pay the other guys medical bills. On top of all that he is now a Felon and had to sell his guns that he collected and cannot vote anymore. There is also the 3 years probation that costs him every time he visits.

That was one expensive punch.

IMHO resorting to violence is a sign of ignorance. No matter how mad someone has made me I always just walk away I have the ability to remove myself from a stupid situation and I exercise my right to.
