I guess my post came across wrong. I'm not a fighter, I just know how to fight. Make no mistake, I avoid them at all costs, and can easily come across as a wuss. but when the switch is flipped, I only fight to win. it takes a lot to flip that switch too, I really am afraid of hurting people.
I think it was 9th grade English class we were reading some classic novel. In it was a "scene" where an elder was teaching a kid how to fight. He closed with something like, "and when you've won and your opponent is down, kick him in the teeth so every time he looks in a mirror, he thinks of you and what you did to him."
Never done it, but it stuck with me.
Edit: BTW, we're creating a "Warriors through the Ages" series of T's: Vikings, Ninja, etc.
