I don't expect excuses, since there is a simple reason. The decision to invade Iraq in the first place was not a small error. It was a big one, carrying wide ranging repercussions and impacts. Apologizing for the presence of difficult decisions like troop withdrawl would be like apologizing for the poor foreign relations position we are also now in. That too will take some time to repair. Not just a few years. And the difficulties associated with those repair efforts will not be the fault of the Dems. That's fact. No need for excuses when there are obvious actual reasons.
I have no idea what this Hyper Black rant is about, but I can imagine.
