You have to love the light weight of the earlier cars. My 79SC that was modified as a 74 RS clone weighed 2390 pounds with a full tank and interior. Could have cut another 200 pounds out of her if I wanted to. With the 270 hp Max Moritz N/A 3.2 liter motor it used to be one quick car and felt so light compared to my turbo. That is one disadvantage to the newer cars is they weigh to darn much. Although It never ceases to bring a smile to my face.
