We're forging ahead with a Little Traveler book series that will correlate, if not just loosely, with the t-shirt designs. The main character is Joey who will go on adventures through time and location, meeting up with mentor characters, like a race car driver against the Vintage Racer series of shirts, and some lesson will be learned along the way.
We've been developing the Urban Dino line since day one and it's been a big hit. For spring, we're doing the T-Rex skull embroidered on T's and bitten madras-collared polos, some with screen art running over the embroidery, some just plain like a Ralph Lauren polo player.
We've got the idea that Joey can have a little friend-mascot-pet that will travel with him. It could be a T-rex skeleton the size of a dog, or actual size, like Clifford. he will either get him on the first book, or 1 or 2 into the series. Animated versions are anticipated.
here's the question for dads out there:
Good idea or just too strange to have a skeleton T-Rex tagging along in the stories, either as a little friend or life-size? Preference for size?
NOTE: to everyone I owe shirts to, hoping to get them out this week.
