'84 Engine Blower Fan Wiring

I have an '84 3.2L engine in my '72T. I want to hook a switch up to turn on the blower fan in the engine compartment to provide heat to the interior when needed.

I know where the plug is on the fan, but I don't know where the wires end up. Do they go through the 14 pin connector that the DME uses, or the 6 (4?) pin in the front of the engine bay?

Then, where do they show up later so I can pick them up to wire the switch? I'd rather not have to run separate wires from the fan if I don't have to. I'm guessing I might because of the disparity of years between the components.

I've tried looking at the wiring diagrams in the shop manuals, but the numbers that tell me what wiring harness it's in doesn't help me much when it just ends.

Thanks,

Scott
