My father went through this about 2.5 years ago, and it wasn't quite so bad on his mouth. Sorry to hear this from you.
Dude- you have GOT to eat somehow. If it takes pain meds to help you eat, get them. And if it took hitting a bong to get your appetite, do it. Please try to eat, maybe just oatmeal or something. My dad did a lot of oatmeal.
