As I said in the other thread though, what were Ferrari thinking starting on inters? Even before the race started it seemed pretty clear that that it was going to be very wet. Starting behind the safety car was another very clear indication. There was no way that I can think of that full wets were ever going to be anything but the best option to start the race with. The three stops that they made really finished it off for them then, otherwise we may have had a different outcome.
I was really disappointed about Alonso. It was never really clear what happened there either. Obvioulsy he went off by himself, but we never got to see anything leading up to the incident. I was wondering if some of that damaged bodywork and/or undertray that was flapping around at the back there managed to pucture his tire, or if whatever had caused that damage had damaged the suspension. Either way the result is the same.
