That is what I paid for my 89 S4. did a full service and it was a very reliable car. Shocks were too soft for my liking. Best highway car I ever owned, and it would take real well to an X pipe and suspension upgrades.
I would buy it on provision that it passed a PPI. AC should WORK ! Have you talked to the seller ? Give him a call.
