The more I look at the HP the more I want one, and bet this is going to be one fantastic machine, man is it sweet! Also, being a recent purchaser of a new r1200s, it hurts a bit to know that the HP is on it’s way and that I had better start seeking some investment opportunities so as to be in a financial position to maybe have one, for if it is substantially better than the R1200S, as the R1200S is substantially better than my old R1100S, I will diffidently want to have one.
Also, being on my soap box, I want to say to all who wish, want place side luggage on your R1200S’S and also be able to put your woman on the back (which, actually haven’t been that many on this forum come to think of it) anyway, run ,don’t walk and get yourself a GS, RT, ST, LT, for the R1200S/HP is BMW’S version of a sport bike, unlike the old R1100S, which was more of a sport touring machine. If, ya need to have to have luggage on the R1200S and don’t want to drill holes into the nice body work to fit the expensive factory bags, check out RKA or the ”the cycle guys.com rack @ $60.00 along with a $100.00 Ortlieb waterproof travel bag” and you will be able to go cross country if you like.
