I do believe I said "is facing..." in my original post, which would indicate, at least to me, that he has not yet been sentenced, but that is what the possible sentence is.

As to actually doing something about, thank you for pointing our that sentencing guidelines are in front of the Supreme Court and what can actually be done.

If you add up the most he could get for each individual charge he's facing you get a max of 60 years. What he actually gets will depend on what he's convicted of and gets sentenced to actually serve. If the US is going to hell in a handbasket it is more likely to be caused by an uneducated citizenry that takes reactionary positions without taking the time and effort to become fully informed before forming their opinions. I think our Founding Fathers even said something like that once or twice. Let's get this bad guy convicted before we start debating his sentence.

If anyone really cares and is paying attention, they would know that the federal sentencing guidelines are in front of the US Supreme Court today. Contacting your local member of Congress to suggest some Congressional oversight over whatever comes out of the Supreme Court would probably do better to stave off the ruination of American than posting here.
