Well for sure, Dean, Dradylee, most likely RoLoo..........myself and others, I'll bet. Mike Kelly comes to mind as someone who would be problematic in the mountains on one of these........and I could mention others......but I already KNOW they are scheming as we speak. BMW riders in N.C., N. GA., TENN, N. CALIF., MO., TEX..........and other areas as well are rounding up change now, being good to the Missy and cheerful at work.
Like others have mentioned this new engine is the first major valve train design since the early four valve K1 and the later 4-valve twin. Still.................and this is what we like.......this new twin is the first non "boxer" push-rod twin from BMW in 84 years.
These will not linger long on the showroom floor...........
Now, if we just had any idea of when. First 100 to be shipped by Jan 15?????? I doubt it. More like we ride off on one by the first week of April. Anybody got a valve clearance for this new DOHC?
