Well give him a visit and maybe we can read some interessting storys about Donahue and the 917.

Generaly a Porsche or other more complex car needs other skills then a normal 5 year then throw away car.
The problem is that those people who can handle compley engeneered cars seem to fade away or get send into the skys maintaining more compley structures in the earthbound nothing.

A observation is that today the new mechanics generation is allways seeking for a electronic device to read out the failure codes. Even if it is a old carbed car. They don´t understand how to work just out from the own brain. Hell most from them need a calculator for simple calculations, 20 years ago such people would only have cleaned the cars or made a simple oilchange job now they are called automotive "technicians" as they can operate expensive computer devices without understanding them.
