Basically, he's exposed himself as a dishonest, unprincipled person who puts himself ahead of his constituents and even his party. If he resigned as he should do, the Republican governor of Idaho would appoint a Republican replacement and everyone would be better off, except Sen. Craig.
I suppose he wants to spend his $575,000 campaign funds kitty before he goes.
