At least Porsche/VW takeover will not suffer the cultural difference between MB and Chrysler. But the VW road will continue to be rough with the emergence of China's auto industry. To a large degree, this union is about protecting the German people's auto industry. Detroit's looking in the same direction. And that's a good thing.
