The new camera market has a lot of planned obsolescence built into it. I have a pocket digital camera as well, but wouldn't spend big bucks on a digital SLR.

She already has an SLR. How do you load the film onto a cd? (Detached from the real world here. I'm probably 2 hrs. from the nearest city, mall, etc.)
