I dunno...we usually wait until Evren or Ruki are going to be in the USA, then mail by priority mail. We think overseas may take too long. Emmons jerky mails well...only after opening the vacuum pack do they suggest keeping it in the fridge. There, it'll keep for weeks, though it seldom lasts longer than a few days.
One stop Evren had to make when he was here this summer was Emmons to stock up on Buffalo jerky. Driving back from there, a message came in on his blackberry...it was his bank, telling him that his credit card was being used in Oregon, they wondering if it was him.
(edit) If any nation's customs used a drug or explosives sniffing dog??? I'd think jerky would drive a dog nutzo! Might be fun to try...
