No, all I'm saying is there seems to be a lot of fuss over this and some things I have seen floating about simply don't add up mathematically. It takes boost to make high off-idle and low RPM torque numbers and there is only one style of pump that does that!
Also, someone was asking about my turbochargers a while back...they are GT2871Rs with 0.86 a/r turbine housings. They are not GT28RS (aka Disco Potato) or GT2860...those have MUCH smaller compressors. Each one of the 2871Rs are rated to over 400 HP, in fact these exact turbos have supported 400 WHP on 4-cylinder builds in the past. The match to the 928 engine could not have been better...they are not jumpy, but they are there when you need them to be. The car generates full manifold pressure on just partial throttle and load yet flows out upstairs too! These are the same exact turbochargers used in the Lingenfelter twin turbo 5.7 liter Corvette. Lingenfelter has layed down 700 WHP with these exact turbochargers mounted to the Corvette.
