I agree Markus. It's easy to forget about the great Porsche performance/race cars you mention when one is caught in the fog of the Panamera.
Personally, I like the Cayenne and look forward to driving the Panamera.
It would be nice to see Porsche get back into the prototype classes at Le Mans though . . .
