I have since changed the plugs & let the combustion chambers dry out. Checked that there are sparks at the plugs. Disconnected the gas supply to the CIS, turned the fuel pumps on and gas was coming out of the pipes.
Took out the relays for the fuel pumps and tried to start using starting fluid.
One thing I noticed is that I need to take out the relay for the power window before the fuel pumps will work. If I have the p/window relay installed, the pumps will not buzz (turn on).
I'm going to keep tinkering to find the problem.
If anyone out there has had similar problems and know of a solution, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
