I would send my longhood to the crusher if it was affecting my marriage.
That being said, she's an incredible woman who knows men never really grow up. She is okay with me buying and selling cars, flying airplanes, racing, autocrossing, yada yada, because she knows she is far more important to me than any car will ever be. Sorry, guys, but a Porsche 911 is easily replaceable. Just check the "Cars For Sale" here at Pelican.
I am very fortunate. I've got a wonderful wife, and a garage full of Porsche stuff, and a hangar full of airplane stuff.
My wife is #1.
Question: If your wife thought she was more important than the car, would she ask you to sell?
