Garage
Man - I would have posted this sooner, but when I read it I sprayed mountain dew all over my monitor and had to clean it up first.

Would she give up here purses, shoes, jewelry, or other personal indulgence if you "say" so?

You have reasonable reasons. She is a family lady now, no need to be out attracting young bucks. Such frivolous possessions take away money from what might be considered more "family" things.

What has that got to do with ANYTHING? Do you still eat ice cream?

I don't have time for family, house works,

Probably more a function of work than the P-car.

I don't drive that much since I work from home most of the time,

So reliabiltiy is not a big factor. Get an econobox for when you need to run errands if the P-car is down

the more I keep the car the more I decrease its' value, and ect.

If you maintain it, it will eventually likely start going back up in value.

How is she correct? Not sure I understand this, but if you change capability to dominance, I might agree.

If she already has a Lexus what the hell does she care what you drive? If you sell the P-car, do you have the option of getting whatever car YOU want, or is she making that decision?

A P-car is not simply transportation for most of us who have them. They are a hobby, a passion, often a form of art. I have several cars/trucks/motorcycles and always have. My wife knew that when we got married. I spend a lot of time working on them, and am now teaching my son the "ways of the garage". If you do this, she'll probably want you to get rid of your tools next, as of course you won't need to work on the Lexus!

If you yourself decided you wanted to get a different car (P-car or otherwise) it is a different discussion all together.
