I am assuming the meaning of "Hydrolocking" is do not pump enough fuel (Liquid) into the cylinders that you are trying to compress fluid and not a gas/air mixture. Common problem for our RV owners doing creek crossings and sucking water into the cylinders causing rods, pistons and pins to exit via the block!
