Cool car!! Welcome aboard! As previously mentioned, oil is a personal decision. Sounds funny but the more you read here the more you will see.
I have a stock 89 3.2 in my rig and I use Castrol 20-fitty. Old school dino product. If you want to go longer periods between changes, use synthetic.
