Unless you live in Hawaii or Arizona, the 10 day forecast means squat! I generally start giving the forecast a look perhaps 2-3 days prior. It really doesn't matter anyway since your money isn't refundable at that time. If this is your first year or two of doing them, having rain isn't such a big deal, your happy just to be there. After a couple of years, if its raining enough to lay on the track, I'm off. There isn't much to learn on a track your been running 100's of times in the dry and suddenly it soaking wet other then you can't go as fast. Although I feel confident in my wet weather driving, I've seen car to car mishaps happen that I don't need any part of.
