No, he didn't draw a gun from a holster. He drew it on a piece of paper. I don't have young children, but has it come to this? I'm astonished that a kid can get punished this severely for drawing a gun. And it was supposed to be only a water pistol.
Heaven forbid if they have an assignment for drawing scenes from the revolutionary or civil wars. The entire school may get suspended.
Do the guys here with young kids know this rules exists in some schools? Can they draw tanks, battleships, sling shots, or bows/arrows? I supposed knives are way out of bounds too?
